As we reflect on Month of the Military Child, we are proud to have had the honor of partnering with and spotlighting A Soldier's Child Foundation , an organization dedicated to honoring the children of fallen heroes by delivering a "birthday-in-a-box" every year until their 18th birthday.

This cause hits close to home because it provides a powerful reminder to these children that they are never forgotten. Because of our TIAG member’s incredible generosity, we are proud to have supported three children with birthdays this May, ensuring they feel celebrated and cared for. At TIAG, we believe our members are the heart of their communities. Through our Heart of Cares initiative, we’re honored to support the people and programs that make a meaningful difference every day.

Guided by our core value of supporting communities, TIAG is proud to partner with the Charlottesville Foster Closet. This vital, free resource ensures foster families racing to provide essentials (often within less than 2 hours notice) have the supplies they need to welcome foster children into their home. At TIAG, we believe that taking time to pause and recharge is just as important as the work we do.

To close out Mental Health Month, we recently hosted an exclusive, internal session: a virtual Paint and Sip (Watercolor and Mocktails) led by our very own Mary Zilberfarb.

Mary guided our team through a relaxing experience explicitly designed to help everyone unwind, get creative, and enjoy a fun drink! Our team walked away with some incredibly beautiful moments and practical takeaways:

🎨 Unwind & Get Creative: This accessible, judgment-free session required no previous artistic skill, just a willingness to slow down and let the brush follow intuition.
🎨 Mindfulness: Sparked by the team’s favorite "mindful moments," we used our watercolor kits to paint calming scenes of rivers, mountains, and evergreens.
🎨 A Perfect Finale: This vibrant evening served as the perfect way to close out TIAG's Annual Mental Health Month, providing a dedicated space for our team to pause, sip on something refreshing, and connect through art.

Thank you, Mary, for helping us tap into our creative flow, slow down, and bring a little more color and relaxation into our busy routines. We loved seeing everyone's unique creativity come to life!

We’re celebrating Operation Turbo as part of our TIAG Heart of Cares initiative. They are doing incredible work in supporting deployed service members by sending "Boxes of Home" care packages for a morale boost.

From local nonprofits to national causes, TIAG-ers are shining a light on the organizations strengthening our world in meaningful ways.

Heart of Cares reminds us that impact starts with one person choosing to share a story. Together, we can ensure that those committed to serving our country are never without the support of home.

As a team that cares deeply about the well-being of our employees and their loved ones, TIAG knows how easy it is to let daily pressures take over.

In honor of Mental Health Month, we recently hosted an exclusive, internal session: Mid-Day Breathwork with Bridgette Wagner, E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher and friend of TIAG. Bridgette led our team through an accessible, restorative practice designed to help us hit the reset button right from our desks.

Our team walked away with some incredibly practical tools:

✨ Zero equipment needed: A simple, no-equipment wellness session that focused on intentional moments to breathe.
✨ Portable practice: Simple breathwork that immediately restores clarity and composure during a busy workday.
✨ Restorative mindfulness for everyone: Accessible no matter where you are or how much time you have, providing simple practices our team can use in the future whenever they need a moment to breathe.

One story. Real impact. In recognition of May being Mental Health Month, we're spotlighting El Barrio Community Center for their amazing work strengthening mental health and well-being for women and mothers through our Heart of Cares initiative.

Nominated by Jessica Francis, El Barrio is a pillar of the Rockford, IL community. Since 2012, they have provided job training, youth intervention, and family support, and recently expanded to include weekly therapy and counseling to ensure their community has access to mental health support. Jessica, as a sole provider for her three children, nominated El Barrio to uplift organizations that create a sense of connection, care, and belonging for working mothers.
