Earlier this week, Nick Coticchia, Derek Johnson, and Jack Gebhard represented Genesis at Partner Summit at SAP Connect in Las Vegas.

The day kicked off SAP Connect with a partner-focused look at what's ahead for the SAP ecosystem, including sessions with Manoj Swaminathan, President & Chief Product Officer of SAP Autonomous Suite, and Jan Gilg of SAP in conversation with EY's Nikhil Goray.

As always, the best part was the time spent with the people we work alongside every day. Thank you to our SAP Concur partners Scott Islami, Dave Owen, Courtney Denker, Michelle Jones, Kacey Flygare, and Luke Mancini, along with Carahsoft, SAP, SAP Concur, and many more, for the great conversations and a strong start to the week.

That's a wrap on the SCTEM 2026 Annual Conference in Dallas. Four days of conversations with higher education travel and expense leaders about adapting programs to new technology, evolving policies, and duty of care, which lined up well with this year's Frequent Adapter theme.

The best part was the time at the table. Steady traffic, good questions, and a lot of practical talk about what's actually working on campus.

Thank you to Alisa O'Neill and the team at SAP Concur for the continued investment in this partnership. SAP Concur solutions are a big part of what lets our team deliver for institutions.

Thanks as well to Teresa Athan for leading a well-run conference, and to our TMC partners for the collaboration and the candid discussions throughout the week. Those conversations are the reason events like this are worth the trip.

In 1993, expense software came in a cardboard box with a floppy disk inside. Three decades later, SAP Concur processes more than 1 billion expense transactions a year for over 85 million users.

In our latest blog post, João Pedro Stimamiglio walks through how SAP Concur got there: a near-failure, an early bet on subscription software before "SaaS" was a common term, an $8.3 billion acquisition by SAP, and more than a decade of machine learning built into everyday expense management.

Congratulations to our most recent ACE Award winners: Clemic Lewis Jr, Christopher Marzulla, and Adriano Jorge.

The ACE Award goes to team members who live out the Genesis core values and go above and beyond for their clients and their teams. Clemic has led QA and testing on a key federal project. Chris has stepped into expanded leadership across two client engagements. Adriano has driven governance and operations for our LATAM team while coaching the leaders around him.
