When we hear people say I cleaned the water up on my own..we cringe....why...Not because we want the money but becuse we know..
Outside walls have insulation that will never dry read that again insulation never dries .in fact in this case it was frozen to the outside wall..
Note the standing puddles of water that were dripping from the insulation..
and floors have a very small window for drying before they can no longer be saved ...and are warped permanently ..serious tripping hazard for the elderly..These floors were brand new ..but may be beyond saving due to the delay in finding out in a timely fashion.
this wall is soaked 5-6 days after the " water had been cleaned up by one of our workers moms...When the asked why the hallway smelled funny the water damage came out
