I'm so excited to begin another fabulous year! I have the best students and families and I look forward to continuing all of the musical learning in our fun classes! I taught private piano lessons for 20 years before discovering this program, and I knew immediately that this was the way to introduce kiddos to keyboarding and music theory. It focuses on getting children started with their music education when they're ready, which is way before they've developed the motor skills to begin private instrument lessons. Through full-body movement and age-appropriate games, these classes are packed with learning: rhythms, chords, solfege, classical music, singing, and more! My 40+ graduates have each composed an original song for their final recital using their knowledge of key signatures, time signatures, rhythms, chords, and musical form. It's incredible! And most of them are 8 years-old when they do it! What an incredible gift it is to be able to express oneself through music. I love helping it happen!
