It's National Parks and Recreation Month and we have a Mystery to Solve!
The Powers of Parks have disappeared!
Just as Parks & Recreation Month was about to begin, something unexpected happened. The Six Powers of Parks & Recreation—Connection, Play, Community, Nature, Belonging, and Well-Being—vanished without a trace.
Now we need YOU to help solve the mystery.
Introducing The Power of Parks Challenge—a FREE, family-friendly scavenger adventure happening all month long throughout Jefferson County Parks!

📝 Piece together the mystery by discovering:
👤 WHO organized the Power of Parks Challenge?
📍 WHERE is the final celebration waiting to be discovered?
🔑 WHAT special item unlocks the Power of Parks?
Maps will be released (One each day) for the next 8 days! Use the maps to to discover the clues to learn WHO? WHAT? and WHERE? When the map is released, go on an adventure in the parks! (Clues and maps will be available throughout the month of July)
Along the way you'll uncover hidden treasures, learn fun facts about your parks, and experience firsthand why parks have the power to bring people together.
