Work is underway at the Ramble by Hillwood development in Celina. GH installed tractor-seeded Prairie Masterpiece seed blend, including wildflowers and native grasses, and capped with ProGanics 🎋

The calendar says fall. Your seed knows better. 🍂

September may mark the beginning of fall on the calendar, but across Texas, and our region in general, growing conditions don't change on the same schedule.

As we move out of the prime warm-season planting window, successful hydromulching becomes less about the date and more about location, seed selection, and expected weather conditions.

For Bermuda, September 1 marks the end of our standard germination season. While warm temperatures may continue well beyond that date -- especially in some parts of our region -- Bermuda planted outside its recommended season becomes increasingly dependent on weather conditions.

That doesn't mean hydromulching season is over, though ... it means the conversation changes.
