🥲 Top Picture...Two tired hardworking parents Birth Doula, and BofA lending... and three super cute boys.
Maybe you can relate; Looked happy and put together on the outside, but truthfully on the inside:
🚫 I was at my whits end not understanding how we were working sooo hard but living paycheck to paycheck.
🚫 No understanding that I could get paid to spend money by my credit card company.
🚫 I was sooo frustrated that I was a woman and didn't know where to start, but I needed to create "financial freedom" (scam, right??)
The change in the bottom picture reflects def that we are all getting older, (boys much taller!), and maybe some of us less hair and more wrinkles... but what you don't see is the pursuit of skills and taking risks that 5X our income.
We did that by learning foundational skills and continuing to leverage.
To the mama in the top picture... (myself 14 years ago), WE DID IT!
✅ Getting paid to spend money!
✅ Learning and helping other women create financial foundations that lead to freedom!
✅ Kids attending the best schools in the world!
✅ Only getting better...

I need to ask you two questions:

❓Did you know that 76% of jobs and positions in financial services belong to men?
❓Did you know that only 40% of companies in the United States are founded by women?

This is now in 2023.

With a background as a birth professional, I understand the meaning of spending 13 years empowering other women to do something as valuable as giving birth, believing in themselves, and trusting in their capabilities. How could I not trust myself if being a Doula is a Badass job?

Looking at those numbers, I can understand why not even my husband believed in me when I started in the Financial Services Industry. Honestly, these were hard times for me. I remember this time when I was sitting on the couch studying for my license and my husband said to me… “Maybe you should just get a real job! Are you seriously going to start a new career in a new industry while our kids are going to high school and middle school??”

It was a difficult conversation where I had to tell my husband that if he couldn’t support my dreams I didn’t think our marriage would survive long term. I told him that I had dreams too and that I KNEW there was a better way than living to build someone else’s.

But I need to be fair; it wasn't just my husband. The truth is that outside of a small circle, no one really believed in me.

🤦‍♀️ Who are you to talk to about finances?
🤦‍♀️ But you are a Doula! Since when do you talk about finances?
🤦‍♀️ How do you dare advise people in the financial area?

I can't even remember how often I heard those questions and judgments. However, the real problem was that I began to believe I wasn't capable.

"I'm just a mom of 3 boys" "I'm just Doula." I used to think that with a touch of self-pity.

Then, my Eureka moment came from there 💡

I made a decision, so I surrounded myself with the right people. I needed to give more, do my part, LEARN, and show what I was capable of.
So I bought a couple thrifted blazers and a pair of black heels 👠 at DSW (with 40% off), rented a tiny cubicle for $600 monthly without having the first client, and started networking and learning.

I decided to be the protagonist of my life, see and learn from others, and master all the necessary skills to build a successful business. This is how my dream came true, and today, I proudly say that I am on my way to earning 6 figures a year. It requires hard work, but it is worth every effort.

And I want to share all this knowledge with you; I want to become the person I wish I had to encourage me and show me what I could do.

I want to be with you to transform yourself and build the life you dream of.
