Today we are mourning the loss of Xavier Green, a valued member of our GuardTexas Houston team.

Xavier started as a guard and worked his way up. For over eight years, he showed up for our officers, our clients and our community, setting the standard for what it means to serve. Few people worked as hard or cared as much. He was a tremendously talented leader, and GuardTexas is stronger because of him.

Our hearts are with his family and with everyone on our Houston team who worked beside him.

Xavier, thank you for everything you gave this company. We will carry it forward.

For those wishing to pay their respects, visitation will be held Saturday, October 10 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Barkley Memorial Funeral Home, 4422 Balkin St., Houston, TX 77021.

Prevention starts with presence.

October is National Crime Prevention Month. Prevention is the work you don't see: the walk-through at shift change, the second look at an unfamiliar vehicle, the conversation at the front door before a visitor gets any further. GuardTexas officers do it every shift, on site across Texas.

For 50 years, we've protected Texas businesses and the people who work in them. Want a second set of eyes on your site? Talk with your local GuardTexas team: https://guardtexas.com/contact-us/

Some of the most important work at GuardTexas happens behind the scenes - and for the past 10 years, Justin Cook has been at the center of it.

We're proud to announce his promotion to Senior Director of Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence - a role built around making sure GuardTexas keeps getting smarter about how we serve our clients, using data and AI to make better decisions every day.

Congratulations, Justin. Well earned!

Security may be our business, but our people are what make GuardTexas what it is. 💙

For 50 years, our Security Officers have been the familiar faces our clients know, the watchful eyes behind the scenes and the people who show up every day ready to serve.

This week, we’re especially proud to celebrate the officers across Texas who represent GuardTexas with professionalism, care and commitment.

Happy Security Officer Appreciation Week and thank you for all you do!

Our Austin team saddled up and hit the lanes last night for IREM Austin’s Saddle Up & Strike! 🎳 🤠

We’d love to say GuardTexas swept the awards, but our own John Parra walked away with a title all his own: “Worst Bowler.” 😂 Not every trophy is one you plan on taking home, John!

Thanks to IREM Austin for another great event. We always enjoy getting together with friends across the industry - especially when there’s a theme to run with!

If you know GuardTexas, you know Andrea. 💙

For 14 years, Andrea has become a familiar face and trusted partner to clients, colleagues and friends throughout the industry - the kind of reputation that takes a career to build.

Today, we're proud to announce her promotion to Vice President of Business Development, where she'll take on a larger role in sales strategy while staying closely connected to the business development work she's built over the years.

Congratulations, Andrea! We can't wait to see what's ahead.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 still carries extraordinary weight. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage and humanity shown in the hours and days that followed.

Today, we honor their memory and reflect on the strength found in coming together.
