This W2 position all type of work permits (OPT,CPT,EAD,H4EAD,GC,GC-EAD, no H1B)
Client: Monsanto
Location: St. Louis, MO
Java Full Stack Developers –
The hiring process is 2 steps:
Step 1:
I will call your candidates and have a conversation about their recent project work. The first step will be to have candidates complete an online assessment interview. Due to the volume of openings (They’ve hired 35+ developers in last 4-5 months still have 25+ openings to fill) Monsanto utilizes this assessment as a technical evaluation. I will email the candidates with a test link – it is a recorded session that will include a Q@A portion and a coding test. I will rely heavily on you and your team to outline this process to candidates prior to sending me their resumes (so they know what they are getting into etc.)
Step 2:
I’ll be provided an assessment score once it’s completed. Should they pass – the next and final step will be a 1.5 hour video conference interview. They generally due a resume review, technical inquiries, troubleshooting exercise and then open up to any questions/inquiries from the candidate. A hiring decision will be made after this interview.
Things to note:
I’ve placed 16 developers with Monsanto in the last few months. Candidate communication is important, we want clear communicators, engaging personalities and the ability to convey and highlight past projects. Candidates with at least 3-4 projects in full stack capacity with AWS experience (Deploying app in AWS environment) will be the focus. Monsanto is very big on collaboration and communication – they would almost always prefer a developer who is eager/engaged in learning and collaborating then a Technical SME with poor communication skills.
