Chinese Menu accounting is when you take a little from column A and a little from Column B. In otherwords you can't decide were you want to budget your money so you try a bit of one program and a bit of another. Its not very effective, but many times we end up doing it even when we try not too.

I am working on a unrestricted cash flow statement for a non-profit. The statement will come directly from Quickbooks or might be based on a Quickbooks cash income statement. I don't know yet. I found out that if you don't match the cash receipt to the invoice in the cash income statement won't pick it up as a cash inflow.
