🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember.

Today, we honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, along with the 60 police officers, 8 EMTs, and countless other first responders and civilians who lost their lives that day.

They ran toward the danger when everyone else was running away.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication remind us why we answer the call — to serve, to protect, and to stand beside our community when we are needed most.

From all of us at Richfield Fire Protection District, we remember the fallen, honor the survivors, and keep their families in our thoughts.

Never forget. 🇺🇸🚒

In Idaho, only "safe and sane" (non-aerial) fireworks are legal to use. All aerial fireworks (like bottle rockets, Roman candles, and mortar shells) are illegal to ignite anywhere in the state, even though they can be legally purchased. Always check local city and county codes, as many enforce stricter bans or prohibit fireworks entirely in high-risk areas.

Prohibited Devices: Anything that leaves the ground, explodes, or travels outside a 15-foot diameter circle.
