Sometimes the best part of owning a small business is getting to play even a tiny role in something much bigger. 🤍

I was so grateful to help the Richland County Performing Arts Council with a few of the details for the Betty Hayes Baxter Legacy Stage Dedication Ceremony. Seeing everything come together so beautifully today was pretty special.

🖤🧡🏈🐝

RC football has been in existence for 124 years. Tonight, 9 decades of Hornets go into battle with us as they're represented on our alumni flags. The pride of Hornet Football won't just be with the boys on the field but also with those who have represented Richland Center on the gridiron throughout our storied history. We're proud to have the opportunity to add to that story and our tradition this evening.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Amber Ewing for taking this idea and making it a reality. What started as a "can we do this?" conversation has now turned into a annual project to collect and tell the stories of many Hornets who have represented RC.

2026–2027 Richland School District Calendar 🧡🖤

My very first project as a Marketing & Communications intern with the Richland School District was the 2026–2027 district calendar. I created the overall layout and visual design, incorporated student photography, and developed a cohesive look that carried the district’s One Hive branding throughout the piece. The calendar was created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and prepared for final print production.

You have been wonderful to work alongside, and I’m so thankful for your guidance, collaboration, and support throughout this project.

Definitely one I’m proud to add to my design portfolio! 🐝

The printed invitations are being sent to out-of-town guests and others who may not see the event shared on Facebook, but everyone is invited. You do not need to receive a formal invitation to attend!

Please join us Sunday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic City Auditorium as we celebrate Betty Hayes Baxter and dedicate the stage in honor of her incredible legacy.

Now that the surprise has been revealed, I’m excited to share this special project for the Wanless family.

It was an honor to create a sign that represents their family history and legacy. Projects like this are a meaningful reminder of how much a custom piece can tell a story and preserve something important for generations to come.
