It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Angie Copenhaver, retired co‑founder and former President of ANR Group, who left us on July 2, 2026.
Angie didn’t just start a company in 2007 — she built a home for people. A woman‑owned business created with courage, vision, and a belief that meaningful work could also be compassionate work. She and Ryan Laws built ANR side‑by‑side, shaping a place where people felt supported, challenged, and valued. Angie set the tone for what ANR would become: a company grounded in honesty, compassion, and doing things the right way.
Those who knew Angie remember her for far more than her title. She had a rare way of making people feel seen. She listened deeply. She encouraged quietly. She celebrated loudly. She believed in people before they believed in themselves. Her mentorship wasn’t something she offered — it was simply who she was.
Angie retired in December 2024, leaving behind a legacy that can be felt in every relationship, every project, and every value we uphold. Her influence is woven into who we are — not just in the work we do, but in the way we treat one another. The culture she helped create, the people she lifted up, and the countless moments where her kindness made someone’s day a little easier will forever remain part of ANR’s story.
We extend our deepest condolences to Angie’s family, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by her. She will be missed more than words can express, and remembered with gratitude, respect, and love.
