“This started because I saw too many families being told ‘we can’t support your child.’

And that never sat right with me.

So I created a program that partners with childcare centers — like Great Expectations Learning Center Bright Beginners Learning Center Tiny Blessings Academy Children's Choice Learning Center - Fresno to make sure children with different needs STILL get the education they deserve 🤍

Because every child matters. Period.

Friends & Family 💛
I am launching a new outreach for churches called
“Where Every Child Belongs: An Inclusion Training for Churches.”

This is a love-offering class for churches that teaches how to support neurodivergent children and children who need a little extra sensory or behavioral support—using a connection-based, Conscious Discipline approach.

If you think your church (or a church you attend) could benefit from this, please drop the name of your church in the comments or send me a message.

My heart is to help churches create spaces where every child feels welcomed, safe, and seen. 🤍

Thank you for helping me spread this mission!

Happy National Parents as Teachers Day! 🌟

Today we celebrate the first and most important teachers in every child’s life, their parents. 💛

Parents don’t just raise children they shape minds, nurture hearts, and lay the foundation for learning long before school even begins. Whether it’s tying shoes, learning ABCs, navigating emotions, or simply asking big questions you are teaching every single day.

At Special ME!, we honor and support families who pour patience, love, and guidance into their children’s growth, especially those walking unique journeys.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 To every parent who…

✔ Advocates for their child’s needs
✔ Turns everyday moments into learning moments
✔ Partners with teachers, therapists, and caregivers
✔ Stays up late researching, worrying, and hoping
✔ Never stops believing in their child —
We see you. We celebrate you. We appreciate you.

Thank you for being the heart of your child’s education.

Question??? 🤔
Do you experience tantrums with a kiddo? And if so… do you know what to do in the moment? 😅

Here’s a quick and effective way to handle any tantrum — whether you’re an early educator, teacher, or parent! 💛

🌬️ 1️⃣ Stay Calm Yourself
Your calm is their comfort. Take a deep breath — they need your steady energy more than your words right now.

❤️ 2️⃣ Offer Safety & Connection
Get on their level and let them know:

“You’re safe. I’m here.”
Avoid “Stop crying!” — instead, name the feeling:
“You’re mad because playtime is over. That’s hard.”

⏳ 3️⃣ Wait Before Teaching
You can’t teach while they’re in meltdown mode — first, help them calm.

🧠 4️⃣ Teach After Calm
Once they’ve settled, talk it through:

“Next time you feel mad, what can we do instead?”

Every tantrum is a teachable moment — a chance to build connection, not conflict. 🌱💫
