Annice is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant with experience in immediate postpartum care and beyond. She is an advocate for maternal mental health through her membership with Maternal Mental Health NOW.

🥳LACTATION GRADUATION DAY🥳

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this amazing mama TWICE now and have helped all 3 girls on their tie journeys ❤️

We started almost as soon as baby was born this time! Optimized her latching skills, worked through oversupply, lots of great bodywork, then moved into oral skills when ready.

Baby was starting to get fussy and we opted for releases asap as baby was ready in all areas at that point.

✅Fussiness improved
✅latch improved
✅oversupply managed
✅growth curve maintained
✅oral function optimal

🎊LACTATION GRADUATION🎊

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this sweet dyad since week 4 of birth. Mama was having SEVERE ni**le pain. Like 10/10 😳

Luckily, baby is such a happy baby and took to the small tweaks in latch position and mom almost instantly had ZERO pain 😱

Baby also had oral ties and some torticollis (lucky for her dad is a PT and mom is an OT❤️). We worked through some targeted oral exercises, kept her nervous system regulated and body feeling good with Henderson Chiropractic, and moved forward toward releases with Dr. Amy Luley - Tongue & Lip Tie Center.

Mom and baby are doing awesome!! Mom has transitioned back to work, maintained her milk supply, baby maintaining her growth curve, and transitioned to a bottle ni**le that encourages better function and skills to go between bottle and breast 👏🏼

My favorite part though is watching this mama gain her confidence on this journey 😍

Supply is a tricky aspect to manage for some.

For many….the more you demand, the more you can make.

That is not always true for everyone as your breast capacity and amount of lactation tissue is an important factor. As well as health history and overall health of yourself (yes, you’re an important piece😎)

If you have tried several strategies to increase supply without much success, reach out ASAP. You may still have options we can go over 🤗
