If you're in an unsafe domestic situation and have a hidden secondary phone:
Wednesday, October 4th, FEMA is conducting a national test for emergency alerts. Your phone will get the alert anywhere from 2:20 pm (Eastern time) to 2:50 pm. The signal will start being broadcast at 2:20 and will last for 30 minutes, but your phone will only alert once.

Do not turn your phone back on until you are safe to do so as the phone could alert when reactivated.

The sudden noise of this alert could disclose the location of your hidden device, so it's best to power it completely down during that time.
Stay safe.

Dance like nobody's watching?

Confession: I don't paint my own nails. 💅

I'm an artist. I know how to hold a paintbrush, but there's something about my own nails that makes it 100x harder. Even on my non-dominant hand. 🤦‍♀️

I tried nail stickers once. No.

Here's the thing: getting my nails DONE is special. Plain old polish, classic manicure, on my real nails, and it's "Ooh la, la, FANCY time."

Even the least luxurious salon manicure involves pushing back the cuticles, shaping the nails, and an arm massage. Every time I look at my hands, I smile 😊 because I feel good about treating myself well.

What's that have to do with copywriting? Great question. 😉 I'm glad you asked.

When you try to write your own copy, especially your sales page, it MIGHT turn out OK.
But the time, the effort, the gloppy mess all over your hands (oops, that's my DIY nail polish job), wondering if it will work. . .

I'm back on social media. It's been a couple of weeks since I decided to unplug. As an empath, I have to balance the benefits of connection with the energetic cost.

In the coming weeks, I'll be making some big choices about what I allow into my space. Copywriting will stay! I love it, it lights me up, and I'm good at it.

This is your reminder.

YOU are more than ENOUGH. You always have been.

Before I was a copywriter, I was an art teacher. Even at a young age, kids would say "I can't do this." Or "I'm not good at it."

I would remind them of the truth I'm about to share with you. In the entire history of the world, there has never been another YOU.

You're on the fifth load of laundry since you started writing your sales page. And you're feeling super accomplished!

I mean, not on the sales page. That's still a few sentences and a random meme (because it might be funny).
