FACEBOOK NEWS 🚨 Facebook is testing link-posting limits for pages!

This will impact churches and ministries that link to their websites, YouTube, blogs, etc.

👇 Details...
▪ The test impacts users using professional mode (profile converted into a creator profile) and pages.

▪ If the test becomes permanent, users will only be able to post 2 links per month in the post caption, unless they pay for a Meta Verified subscription ($14.99/mth).

▪ Alternative: Users can post unlimited links in the comments.

👇 WHY?
Meta wants to add value to its paid subscription service by giving those subscribers the ability to post unlimited links in the post captions.

So, is TikTok here to stay? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Honestly, it isn't very clear.

Here's the skinny...

⛔ Officially, TikTok is banned in the US (effective Jan. 2025).

⛔ But to date, the president has signed four executive orders instructing US authorities not to enforce the bill.

⛔ Now, TikTok's parent company and the US have 90 more days (Dec. 16) to iron out details of the sale...which is apparently very close to happening.

So ... TikTok will be here to stay. 😏

Just curious ... does your church and/or your pastor have an account on TikTok?

[💡 If there are multiple churches with the same name, add your city to the end of your page name.]

2: Is your denomination or religious institution listed under the page information?

3: Is the church name AND username the same across all channels?

Recently, I faced a choice between rushing back to work or taking some time to rest on a peaceful farm with my friend, Marisol.

I chose rest, which isn't my usual approach.

I recall reading a statement about ministry leaders always being available to work, saying...

"We do it for the mission; we do it for the gospel! We run hard for Jesus, knowing we need to do our part as a member of the body. Yet we neglect rest."

If this is you, or maybe you're working with someone who's neglecting rest, take a moment to pray for them this week.

Father, help us operate from a place of rest instead of exhaustion or burnout. Please guide us to prioritize our mental health and get quality sleep. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
