Upon moving to NM in 2009, Karen and Cindy decided to follow in their dad’s footsteps by offering consulting services to small businesses helping them maximize their effectiveness. The Stone sisters brought over 35 years of combined experience in human resources, training and organizational management to the business founded by their father. Nine years later, Stone Associates provides

a wide variety of consulting services to a local and national client base. The sisters no longer live in New Mexico, but are grateful for their time there and happy to still be working with many of their clients from the state. Karen now lives with her husband in Mexico, while Cindy and her husband are searching for a new home in Bucks County, PA or Hunterdon County, NJ. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) proposed withdrawing the independent contractor and joint employer final rules. The independent contractor rule hasn't yet taken effect. A court has struck down much of the joint employer rule.
