SO excited to finally share some pictures of this beautiful addition! What was once an attic crawl space is now an imaginative, stylish, and light-filled retreat for the sweetest little boy! I love the custom window seat James River Construction brought to life for us-in the perfect shade of blue. Can't wait to share more from this home!

This is the product of a collaboration with furniture designer John Thomas of Thomas Trades. My clients, who live in a turn of the century Monument Ave home, were searching for the perfect console for their dining room. Tucked away in a dusty corner of their basement was the elevator cage from the original elevator that at one time serviced all four floors of their home. As soon as I saw it, I knew we had found our console. No one could have brought to life this vision the way John did. Here is a sampling of the journey this piece of history made from obsolete artifact to functional beauty with the best story in the room.
