✏️ writer’s scoop: save the frogs
What a funny juxtaposition summer break can be.
A time where I'm either in the car all day chauffeuring kids hopping from one camp to the next, or we're having lazy mornings clocking new bird species and saving dozens of tiny frogs from our pool.
Some weeks where "I'm bored" rings through the house alongside hours of science experiments, imaginative play, animal chores and pool yard picnics.
And some weeks where one activity runs into the next, and Google maps becomes your best friend on reverse calculating schedules, rush hours and grocery runs making it from one to the next on time.
But, I know like many, this time will fly by. Heck, we're somehow already halfway through June and I've already thought about ordering uniforms and school supplies for the coming year.
So, while summertime is meant to be full of adventure and full of rest, full of new experiences and old comforts, I guess it's just another season of balancing needs, and saving the frogs.
Does your summer routine have a smooth rhythm or rollercoaster effect?
*yes, froggies can swim but they can get trapped in the pool if they don’t find the ways to hop out in time
