If you're like me, you can't recall the last window washer you saw 🤔. Now that's changed.
Makes sense that Spidy should be cleaning up all the smudges he leaves behind 🏢.
Regardless, he has positioned himself far ahead of his competitors.
This guy gets seen by countless people every day👀. They won't all be buyers. But for the many that are, he is crushing this touch point along the buyer's journey 👊👊👊.
At The Algernon, our differentiator is that we don't sell what we do. We sell what our clients need, and that may not always be a service we provide. But that's a topic for a different post.

They say your character is defined by what you do when others are not looking. In the business world this can manifest as giving with no expectation of return. How do I know it works? Here’s a real-life example.

A contractor is rebuilding my neighbor’s shed. The contractor was out by his work vehicle when the garbage truck came and emptied my neighbor’s trash. When the contractor returned to the backyard to continue working on the shed, he took the empty garbage can with him. My neighbor wasn't home. There was no one visible to him. He did it simply because that's how he is.

The following day I bumped into the contractor and asked him for his business card as there are items we need done to our home. And if you use the Nextdoor app, you’ve probably seen countless requests from your neighbors asking for good contractors. I give his name every time.

I’ll never tell him that I saw him put my neighbor’s trash can away. I’ll never tell him that I recommend him to others on Nextdoor. I think that for Karma to work, it must be this way.

Your net worth is equal to your network 👊👊👊. I left my 9-5 life and started The Algernon after getting a couple of nice clients. Some time later I realized that a decent percentage of your revenue should not be coming from one or two sources.
Consider the impact if you lost them as a client. That's when I started networking. My number of business contacts, and friends, has exploded since.
said "The richest people in the world look for and build networks; everyone else looks for work." ✔
When talking to a group of young business people running creative agencies on how he can charge so much more for the same jobs, stated "You guys charge for what you can do. I charge for what the world can do." ✔
If you haven't already, start building your network today. There are countless groups in your city that meet weekly/monthly. And there are networking groups for all types of people.
