Not only can our micro scanner create high-resolution 3d scans of jewelry, coins and other small items, it can create color video flyovers of items perfect for eCommerce websites and videos! The flight path and speed around the object can easily be modified.

We have been extremely happy with the quality of 3d scans from the Einscan 3d scanning equipment we use, so have taken the next step - we are now the Einscan dealer for Central Virginia!

The line of scanners include the affordable Einstar handheld 3d scanner and the Einscan SP, all the way to the H, HX and metrology scanning equipment.

We will be posting the 3D scanners for sale on our site in the coming weeks. Until then, contact us we will discuss your needs and we can handle the sale over the phone or in person. We will also be offering basic training and support for all of our customers.

Curious how much we can enlarge a 3d scan with our high-resolution 3d scanning equipment, and not see polygons in the 3d print?

In this example, we have enlarged and 3d printed the scan at 800% without seeing polygons in the surface. The figure in this example was originally 2.8" tall and 3d printed at 22.4" tall. This means that we can scan a 12" maquette and 3d print the scan up to 8' tall. Contact us to learn more.

Next up, we are going to 3d print the same scan at 1,600%, which would be 44.8" tall!

Batman and his rogues gallery. Printed in ABS filament (except for Mr. Freeze's helmet), approx. 14" tall. The base and each figure was printed separately. Only post processing that has been done to the pieces was to remove the support material. No sanding or chemical smoothing has been done to the print.

The latest prop we've printed for one of our clients — The T-800 arm from Terminator 2. Printed life-sized. Only thing not printed was the acrylic tube. Arm was printed from various models on Thingiverse. The lighted base was custom designed by us to work with the 6" tube and arm.
