Update from the Dinwiddie build. 🪜

Walls are up, roof framing in, stairs going in. From inside, it already feels like a house — stand at the foot of the stairs and you can look clear up to where the second floor will be.

Still 3 bed / 2 bath / 1,315 sq ft. Still a spec — no buyer locked in yet. If you've been thinking about brand-new construction south of Richmond, DM me "DINWIDDIE" and I'll send you the plan + price.

Last week was Day One — lot cleared, footings dug, block delivered.

This week, the foundation walls are going up. Cinder block on the footing, layout squared up, crew on site getting it done.

Next stop: slab pour, then framing starts.

Stopped by a project on the way out today.

Eight weeks ago this was dirt.

Three families I'm walking lots with this week are looking at the same kind of dirt — wondering if they should make the leap.

This is what "yes" looks like a few weeks in. Not finished. Not glamorous. Just a crew, lumber, and a house going up.

Two months from here to keys in their hand.

Thursday.

Three lot evaluations this week. Two families decided to move forward. One decided to keep looking.

All three got the same thing from me — straight answers.

That's the only way I know how to do this. Building a home is too big a decision to play games with. So we don't.
