New video in elevation! This insight from an actual patient reflects the profound impact of receiving a diagnosis, and along with it, the importance of sustaining a sense of control in the care process. In this short video we learn how a team from Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital used design thinking to develop a toolbox that empowers patients to control their care experience.

New video in elevation! The 'EHR State of Mind' video by ZdoggMD is a few years old now, but always worth revisiting. First and foremost it is brilliantly executed and a lot of fun. A good lesson for all of us involved in designing community services and operating infrastructure. Enjoy! https://bit.ly/3tLcsZD

New video in elevation! Despite our best efforts, it is all too easy to sacrifice human touch for the sake of efficiency in community healthcare. This video shows how a digital concierge program at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital purposely created 'human touch' to change the lives of Sibley's cancer patients and the staff that care for them. That program was conceived in the Sibley Innovation Hub by a team committed to using design thinking principles to transform care. These same principles can be applied to humanize any community health service or support. Watch https://bit.ly/3toIhr7
