What's great about posters is that they are BIG and in your face. What's bad about posters is that they are BIG and in your face.

There's no escaping it; either you did a good job or it sucked. I've always found that the impact a poster has makes it more like art. Art is meant to be seen and appreciated. If you're not creating art, you're creating pollution. Usually, you'll see posters in public places or bus shelters, and I would even say in some cases billboards. I believe many people would agree with me that there should be a hefty fine for people who cause pollution.

Posters need to get your attention from a “distance” much like a billboard. Unlike billboards, posters allow you to get closer, spend more time with it. With billboards headlines shouldn’t be more than 9 words, unless you are a very fast reader or a very slow driver.

Not only should the goal be to grab the readers attention and communicate message, but make them want a copy of the poster.

I find that it’s rare to see a good poster these days. I believe this law factors, for that, lack of skill, lake of time for craft, low resolution and maybe too much of the design is done on the computer and not working actual size. Most designers don't realize the importance of seeing something an actual size before they get it printed.

I have a passion for all things branding, and I always start with the strategy and follow the same process on every project. I ask five simple questions: Who are you talking to? What do we want to tell them? How do we tell them? What do we want them to do? Was it effective?

What sets me apart is that I can ensure that both the concept and the design elements are in line with the overall branding strategy. My portfolio and case studies speak to my expertise in this area.

I'm here to help client and believe it all starts with a conversation. Within 15 minutes, we should be able to tell if we’re aligned. So let's talk!

As we go about our daily lives, it is easy to get caught up in the monotony of routine and forget the value of each passing day. However, it is important to remember that each day is unique and will never happen in exactly the same way again.

At first glance, this idea may seem daunting or even depressing. We may think of missed opportunities or moments we wish we could relive. But in reality, this fact is what makes each day so precious and worth cherishing.

The knowledge that this day will never happen again pushes us to make the most of each moment, to appreciate the people and experiences around us, and to strive for our goals and aspirations. It encourages us to live mindfully and with intention, avoiding unnecessary stress and worries about the past or future.

In essence, the impermanence of each day is a reminder of the beauty and fragility of life. By embracing this concept, we can learn to appreciate every moment, to make the most of every opportunity, and to live with a sense of purpose and vitality.

Thnk: writer’s strike. The current writers strike is definitely a complex issue within the entertainment industry. It centers around fair payment and better working conditions for streaming writers. Streaming services have become more and more dominant over traditional cable networks, yet the payments for writers remain significantly lower. This disparity has led to various negotiations and strikes among writers and their guilds. What are your thoughts on this issue? .com .com

Yes, I had a big sale of WORK items.

No, I am not retiring. I'm not liquidating.  And, I’m not moving to Portugal. I’m just getting rid of stuff I’ve been collecting over the years (my wife says hoarding).

The main reason for the big purging is that I need to lighten the load so I can move faster.

·  Providing critical stage thinking to CEOs
·  Working on creative passion projects
·  Launching Thnk: a lifestyle cannabis brand that champions higher thinking.
·  managing WORK Labs which will remain the studio.

So, let this not be a sad time for saying goodbye to so many items I have cherished over the years but a celebration of the new homes they have found.

A big thanks to so many past students, past employees, and friends that are new owners of WORK memorabilia. A special shout-out to Charles
Hodges .xyz (http://artsandletters.xyz/) (http://artsandletters.xyz/ (http://artsandletters.xyz/)), Jordan Childs , Adam Ewing , and Audrey Menez  who never gets enough credit. Patti Harris , and Chris Harris for the photo, and Crystal Wolverton   for organizing the sale of all of these items so close to my heart. A special thanks to the talented Kevin Daley who always lends a hand and cares as much about appreciation for craft and inanimate objects as I
do. Hell, he made, forged, and moved half of what I have.

I have kept my cards close to my chest this past year and haven’t posted that much. This coming year will be different. I’ll show you what never-retirement looks like.

Smiley face goes here.
