You scan QR codes without thinking twice. So does everyone else.

That’s exactly why cybercriminals are now using fake QR code stickers, a growing scam known as “quishing” to steal Microsoft 365 logins, banking information, and business credentials.

Our COO, Eric Clary, recently spotted one of these suspicious QR codes in the wild, and it’s a reminder that cybersecurity threats are no longer just hiding in emails.

They’re showing up in everyday places across Richmond.
