Crafting with Gma Christy signed up as refreshment coordinator, and she absolutely delivered. She brought a projector screen with a full presentation, and we all received little treat-making kits. Personal fondue pots. Easy Bake Ovens. Yes, actual Easy Bake Ovens.
This was surprisingly delightful and interactive. Honestly? It was the therapy we needed. The nostalgia hit so hard that we all forgot we were at a business meeting. Very well played, Gma Christy. Plus, it was incredibly well organized. Everyone was happy, relaxed, and ready for the key speaker. ๐ฅฐ

โฐAs the alarm blared for the key speaker, Gina's Artisanal Handmade Crafts had to pull her fingers out of the fondue chocolate to head to the podium. We all put our s'mores down.
The topic? Facebook friends, conspiracies, and Facebook challenges.
She started laughing and then launched into a full rant about how many picture challenges, black and white photo tags, "share your product" posts, and happiness challenges she's been nominated for. Everyone in the audience related a little too much. We've all been there. We've all been tagged. We've all wondered if we should participate or just pretend we didn't see it. ๐

To our surprise, as we started wrapping up the meeting, the doors were kicked open with someone yelling "KUNG FU!" We totally forgot she was scheduled earlier this year to perform an RGE summer's end show. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ(This part of this post is actually true, sorry friends, this post will be a bit longer)
It was The Pea Patch at Willcockson Farms and she arrived IN Full COSTUME!!! ๐ฆ๐ณ
Picture this: shimmering metallic tights that caught every beam of light in the room. A flowing skirt with peacock feathers cascading like a magnificent train behind her, each feather perfectly placed to create a gradient of emerald, sapphire, and gold. A beautiful shimmering cape in blue, purple, and silver draped across her shoulders, catching the light with every movement like liquid starlight. The cape billowed dramatically as she moved, creating waves of color that seemed to dance on their own.
She led a full choreographed peacock show. Flashing lights synchronized to the music. Dazzling fireworks (๐ฐ๐'๐ซ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ก๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐'๐ซ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ). The music swelled as she moved across the floor, arms extended like wings, the feathers on her skirt fanning out in perfect peacock display. Every step was deliberate, every turn theatrical. The lights shifted from deep purple to electric blue to shimmering silver, matching her cape perfectly.
It was mesmerizing. It was ridiculous. It was absolutely unforgettable.
We have no idea how this became the grand finale of our business meeting, but honestly? We're not mad about it. ๐ช (That's a lie, we definitely had an idea ๐ช)
