Attention BTEL Customers 🚨
There is currently an outage and we are actively investigating the issue and working to have it back up as soon as possible.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Attention BTEL Customers 🚨

BTEL would like to make our community aware of reports involving fraudulent phone calls appearing to come from the Brazoria Police Department (979-798-2195).

Scammers are reportedly using a tactic known as caller ID spoofing, which allows them to disguise their phone number to make it appear as though they are calling from a legitimate source.

What to watch out for:
Calls claiming you have outstanding warrants.
Callers demanding immediate payment or threatening legal action.
Requests for personal or financial information.

REMEMBER: Just because a phone number looks familiar or legitimate does NOT mean the call is authentic.

If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact the Brazoria Police Department directly using a verified phone number. Do not provide personal information or make payments over the phone.

At BTEL, keeping our community connected also means helping keep our neighbors informed and protected. 💙

Please share this information to help spread awareness and protect others in our community.

Building connections from the ground up! 💙

Behind every reliable connection is the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our BTEL team.

We're proud to be building for today and the future!

Growing together. 💙

Yesterday, our team came together for our quarterly company luncheon to talk about where BTEL is today, the progress we’ve made, and where we’re headed next.

As BTEL continues to grow, these gatherings give us an opportunity to keep our entire team informed, celebrate what we’ve accomplished, and stay connected around the goals ahead.

Of course, good food and time together make it even better! We’re grateful for the people who continue to move BTEL forward every day.

For us, being local means something. 💙

It means serving the same communities we call home. It means seeing our customers at the grocery store, at Friday night football games, at local events, and around town. It means supporting our schools, businesses, organizations, and neighbors. Not because we have to, but because this is our community too.

For 80 years, BTEL has had the privilege of growing alongside the communities we serve. A lot has changed since 1946, but one thing hasn’t: our commitment to the people and places that made us who we are.

We’re not just a company that serves this community. We’re part of it.

A great week of learning, connecting, and bringing new ideas back to BTEL! 💙

A group of our team had the opportunity to attend NISC MIC 2026 this week, where they spent time learning about the latest technology, connecting with industry peers, and gaining valuable insight to bring back home.

We’re always grateful for opportunities that allow our team to continue learning and growing so we can better serve our customers and communities.
Thank you, NISC, for another great MIC!

A wonderful evening with our local business community! ✨

Last Thursday, BTEL had the pleasure of attending the Brazoria Chamber Gala & Auction. We always enjoy opportunities to come together with fellow businesses, community leaders, and friends while supporting an organization that does so much for our local community.

Thank you to the Brazoria Chamber for putting together another great event. We’re proud to be part of such a strong and connected community! 💙
