It's almost time for , and we're here to help you strengthen your pitch.

If you're prepping for presentations or important conversations in Barcelona, your story needs to be as strong as your science. Your technology, clinical data, and market opportunity may be compelling, but when you only have a few minutes to explain your solution, clarity is king. Whether on stage or in person, here are the keys:

• Can you get to the point quickly?
• What's the one thing you want people to know?
• Match your visuals to your story—don't make people listen to or read disparate content.
• Help people believe in you and your team by being polite and friendly, and explain why their money is safe in your hands.

If your pitch deck could use a final round of refinement before LSI - Life Science Intelligence, send it our way. Give yourself—and your story—enough time to get it right before you step into the room.

See you in Spain! Reach out to Rachel Knutton if you'd like to meet up or have her attend your pitch.

We brought more than business cards to LSI - Life Science Intelligence Asia—our very own Aimee Slagle created illustrated stickers as a fun way to help people identify with different medtech brand archetypes.

At Alluvia, we spend every day helping clients define and communicate who they are. These stickers brought that same thinking to our booth in a simple, interactive way—giving people a chance to see themselves in a brand personality and start conversations about what makes their story unique:

"I wanted the illustrations to feel bold yet playful, and I utilized Alluvia’s signature gold palette because there’s gold to be found in every brand's story." - Aimee Slagle, graphic designer at Alluvia Studio

From the Innovator to the Caregiver, the Sage, Hero, Ruler, and Rebel, each character represented a different way organizations often show up in the medtech space. Plus, creating the stickers meant that Aimee got to use her unique illustration skills—we love opportunities for team members to use all of their talents at work.

At Alluvia we're excited, impressed, and intrigued as we explore the use of AI, albeit with a healthy dose of skepticism.

There’s a growing assumption that AI can handle strategy, positioning, and messaging. Not so fast, we say. AI is a powerful tool for synthesis and efficiency, but it does not replace human experience, judgment, or contextual understanding—particularly in industries like medtech where clarity and credibility directly influence investment and adoption.

Effective brand strategy relies on pattern recognition, context, lived experience, and the "magic of human insight," as author Mark Schaefer noted in Audacious. These inputs shape how differentiation is actually perceived in the market.

In medtech, we’ve seen AI increasingly used in early messaging development. While efficient, the output can often feel generic when it isn’t grounded in clear positioning or strategic intent. It can also feel inauthentic due to its repetitive language patterns.

AI is most effective as a tool within strategy—not a substitute for it.

It's one of the least glamorous parts of being a CEO—but handling difficult conversations is one of the most important responsibilities you have as a leader.

This month, our CEO Rachel Knutton will join fellow industry leaders at MEDevice Boston for a panel discussion on "Hard Conversations: Performance Issues, Conflict, and Accountability."

From navigating performance concerns to managing conflict and building a culture of accountability, strong leadership requires empathy and intention—especially when the conversations are difficult.

If you'll be in Boston on August 26–27, we'd love to see you there!

Another great clip from Rachel's recent podcast conversation with Anders Virtual CFO.

In this clip, she shares her perspective on AI, creativity, and why thoughtful adoption matters more than being first.

Give it a listen, and if you haven't already, check out the full episode. The link is in the comments.

Being woman-led by our CEO Rachel Knutton and having nearly 2/3 female employees are unique qualities of Alluvia Studio.

The female-dominant space inspires team members such as Natasha Duncan, our Graphic Design Intern:

"The environment feels welcoming and supportive. They want to watch you grow and set a path to success."

Natasha has worked with us for over a year and is currently pursuing a business degree. We're so proud of her as she furthers her education and continues to grow here at Alluvia!

We're also proud that Rachel was featured in the March 2026 issue of LSI - Life Science Intelligence's The Lens magazine. In a section about "Women Driving the Future of Medtech," she shared some of her story and what we do at Alluvia. We want to thank The Lens for highlighting female entrepreneurs like Rachel. We believe a woman's perspective is so valuable in medtech, an industry all about caring for others.

Some of our longest client relationships started with just a single presentation.

When medtech companies trust us to tell their story with clarity, an initial project often grows into brand strategy, messaging, design, and eventually a long-term partnership.

Our story matters because it has shaped how we serve our clients.

Before Alluvia Studio existed, Rachel Knutton spent decades in healthcare and medtech—learning the industry from the inside out. That experience still informs every strategy, message, and partnership today.

Thank you Anders Virtual CFO for having Rachel on the podcast!

Our designers just spent a week in Nashville at CreativePro Week 2026. Why?

Because our CEO Rachel Knutton is big on her value of continuous improvement. When she founded Alluvia Studio, her personal value became a value of her company, and it's one she consistently encourages her team to embrace.

After a week of learning new techniques in AI, the full Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint, participating in hands-on workshops, and connecting with other creative professionals, our designers came back re-energized and eager to apply what they learned to the work we do for our clients.

And that's why continuous improvement is so important to us—it helps us serve our clients better by honing our skills, while also keeping the fire of creativity burning.

If you're one of our valued clients, we can't wait to bring these new ideas and skills into the work we're creating together. And thank you Rachel, for investing in the personal and professional growth of your team members.
