Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to perform complex machining and fitting of all kinds of parts, tools, and machines in support of job shop machining.
-Lays out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications.
-Sets up and operates all available machine tools
-Performs progressive machining operations on work involving very close tolerances or unusual requirements.
-Uses skillfully, all machinists' hand tools and measuring instruments.
-Familiar with working properties of all materials.
-May program CNC machine tools in the course of making parts.
What you will be doing:
-Setup/Operates CNC machinery and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators
-Evaluate tooling, processes and materials
-Understand feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts
-Knowledgeable of material properties
-Knowledgeable of layout and machining procedures
-Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
-Identify, recommend machining process improvements
-Specify, request and maintain tools needed for machine shop production
-Help oversee the storage, management and maintenance of machine tooling inventory
-Help organize and maintain CNC program files
-Keep work area clean, organized and free of safety hazards
-Isolate any piece that may not conform to the standards of the work order
-Troubleshoot machining problems during processes to ensure the efficiency of the procedure
Your experience:
- You have prior experience with setup of CNC Mills and Lathes in a job shop environment
-You have experience working with Doosan, Mori Seiki, and Haas machine controls
-You have over five years of experience with CNC operations and G-Code Programming
-You have strong communication skills and interact well with others

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, walk, use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. The employee is frequently or constantly required to talk, hear, see and/or perform repetitive motion. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision. The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally, and 125 lbs. with assistance, infrequently.
