A fountain, a labyrinth, and an art gallery, oh my! I had some great insights walking this labyrinth– and they all centered around plant analogies! I’m excited to have the time to write about that (hopefully tonight!)

How about you?
What was the best part of 2025 for you, and what was the worst?

Simple and understated. Easily accessible (right behind the big bell).
With a cute little information kiosk that has information and resources on labyrinths.

Gresham, OR

St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Gresham, OR has a lovely labyrinth with clear signage, a bench to sit and reflect, and quietly tasteful landscaping.
It’s a 42 foot diameter Medieval Chartres replica in a garden setting.
It’s my first labyrinth stop today on my way to Everett, WA.

Labyrinth #2
Flagstafff, AZ

54 foot diameter, Medieval, Gossembrot pattern

This labyrinth definitely carried a sense of urgency about it, and the pattern was unfamiliar to me. The fact that it was lined with lava stone, made it one of the more unusual and intriguing labyrinths I’ve walked in a while. On days like this I wish I had a drone so I could do an aerial picture because there’s no way for me to capture the image well with my phone.

Today’s takeaway: HOPE

Labyrinth #1:
Flagstaff, AZ
https://epiphanyaz.org

The labyrinth is located in the garden on the west side of the Church. It’s a 25 foot diameter, Medieval, 11-circuit Chartres

I walked this labyrinth asking what does the world need (to hear)?

* More love
* Less hate
* More grace
* More trust
* More faith

I loved the large, deep, resonant tones from the wind chime here!

Labyrinth #2

Arkansas House of Prayer, Little Rock, AR
Medieval, 7-circuit, Chartres style

In order to experience this stunning and peaceful labyrinth, you have to go behind St. Margaret's Episcopal Church by turning off Chenal Parkway onto Chenal Valley Drive. Turn right up the driveway to park adjacent to the House of Prayer. Follow the pathway next to the stone Arkansas House of Prayer sign. At the end of the path you will see the House of Prayer on the left. Continue straight to enter a second path in the woods that forks. Either fork will take you up the hill to find the labyrinth.

Truly worth the visit!
