Why do some people question forestry ROI numbers?

Forestry is a long-term investment — so skepticism is understandable.

Good questions about ROI are healthy. Our job is to be transparent about where the numbers come from, how assumptions are built, and what those projections actually represent.

Transparency builds confidence.

AGM-147 bare root seedlings planted in Morris County, Texas, are already proving what can happen when good genetics meet the right planting conditions.

While March is typically considered late for planting bare root seedlings, this landowner made the decision to wait until adequate soil moisture was available after an unusually dry planting season. That patience paid off.

Just two months after planting, these seedlings are showing impressive early growth, with survival rates estimated at more than 95% as of June 1.

Successful reforestation starts with more than quality seedlings—it also requires thoughtful planning and planting decisions that set those seedlings up for success.
