It was truly a successful event and memorable day at the Mets game.

Cultural care sold 516 tickets and raised $516 for Kids First Foundation.
20 staff members from across the world, 25+ LCCs, host families, and au pairs gathered at the Tailgate Party to meet new friends, enjoy snacks, face painting, tattoos, corn hole, BINGO, and more.

The game went to extra innings and ended with a walk-off home run and a Mets win!

A spectacular fireworks show capped off the night.

Fun Fact: In the 8 years Cultural Care have been running this event, over 6,500 participants have joined, and they raised over $3,200 for Kids First!

Great au pair fundraiser meeting

Last night we had another great au pair meeting at the Humdingers.

Many of them tried to hit the ball for the first time and they loved it.
We had French, Argentinian, Colombian, polish, South African and Brazilian au pairs attending.

They made new friends and had fun.

I am a Local Childcare Consultant for Cultural Care Au Pair – the largest designated sponsor of the federal au pair program. I’ve been connecting families in our area with au pairs for fourteen years, facilitating cultural exchange and helping families find a unique and impactful childcare option.

In April 5 host families, 15 au pairs from over 10 different countries and couple moms from our town came together for a fundraiser and fun Latin dance class.

This class was the perfect way to stretch, recharge, pause, and practice mindfulness. Our event was a great hit. Everyone loved it and had fun. The class filled up quickly, and everyone left feeling refreshed and energized.

A special thank you to the amazing community members who attended, Latin Heat Moves studio who taught the class in such a lovely studio space!
All the proceeds were sent to the Kist First Foundation supporting kids all around the world from the countries our au pairs come from. Cultural Care matched 100% of the proceeds that we raised.

Au pair holds a J-1 visa, and can provide up to 45 hours of live-in childcare per week, up to 10 hours per day, along with cooking, laundry and light housekeeping as it pertains to the children.
