It's World Migratory Bird Day!

Birds are so special. These amazing migrants can travel thousands of miles around the world to find food, raise their families, and live!

Some migrants travel far and wide to optimize their living conditions, while others only migrate short distances due to their adaptability. And some birds will stay put year round. What kind of migrant would you be a a bird?

1- Golden-crowned Kinglet
2- Red-naped Sapsucker
3- Common Yellowthroat
4- Ruby-crowned Kinglet (enjoying sap from where a red-naped sapsucker made wells in a tree)
5- Eared Grebe
6- Canada Jay
7- Mountain Bluebird
8- Killdeer chick

A little 🫎 with a side of pine marten, great gray owl 🦉, selfies 🤳, a plant that looks like mini pumpkins 🎃, an adorable pine squirrel 🐿, an aspen forest 🍃, bear claws 🐻, and massive leaves 🍁! A great weekend "away", only 30 minutes from home. We explored the Big Hole Mountains and can't wait to go back ⛰️

🍁 Welcome Fall 🍂

Don and I had a fantastic weekend exploring new parts of Idaho and looking for critters along the way ~ and one thing I love about Idaho so far is how many horses are around! 🐴 These beauties all posed nicely for us! Swipe through to see all the pretty horses ~ which is your favorite? 🐎

The thunderstorms have been really intense here lately! On this evening, the storm went from intense clouds 🌫 and wind to a calm rainbow 🌈 to booming thunder with an exquisite lightning show ⚡️

💜💜💜 Happy 1 year wedding anniversary to my Donald Williams 💜💜💜

We had a perfect day getting married at a ghost town in the Colorado mountains, then taking a 3 week, 5000 mile roadtrip across the US to see family and friends to celebrate! We also enjoyed attending Breyerfest, something I've wanted to do since I was a kid! Swipe through for some memories!
