Doug Damman's career began when he was hired and trained by Madison Gas & Electric (MG&E), which was the Madison area power company before Alliant Energy came in. They trained Doug to climb trees safely, to work around power lines, and to take down trees in hazardous environments. When MG&E was bought out by Alliant, Doug was transferred to Asplundh Tree Expert Company. Asplundh is an internationa

l company that works with power companies all over the world. Doug was employed with them for 8 years. Doug took time away from tree trimming and in 2006 he started his own tree trimming company. Initially called Damman's Tree Service, it is now called MadSaw Tree Service, LLC. Doug's specialty has been climbing for over 20 years.
