TAKE-IN SEASON IS HERE!
We are officially OPEN to call and schedule your birds!
We’ve made some big changes this year at Bird Zone Taxidermy, all focused on better art, better service, and a better experience for our clients.
WHAT’S NEW THIS SEASON?
SHORTER & HONEST TURNAROUND TIMES
The longest estimated turnaround we will give any client is 12 months. Once our calendar reaches that point, we stop taking birds until the next take-in season.
That means those who get in early could have a turnaround of just a couple of months!
No unrealistic promises. No endlessly growing backlog. Just an honest timeframe — and if something changes, we communicate with you.
ALL-NEW EXCLUSIVE HABITAT ART
This year we’re introducing an entirely new lineup of Bird Zone Habitat Art, designed and made right here in Ripon, Wisconsin.
We’re calling it Art at Scale.
Each piece is selected and tailored specifically to your bird, its pose, and the overall composition. These aren’t just bases to put a bird on — they’re part of the finished artwork.
EXECUTIVE WALNUT DISPLAYS
Our new custom Executive Walnut backer displays are available with many of our designs, with even more options currently in development — including glass encasements and additional display products.
MORE INCLUDED IN YOUR BASE PRICE
Your base mount price now includes several display and pose options such as limbs, rocks, open-mouth poses and more.
And if you want to take your piece further, we now have 150+ habitat options and additions that can be incorporated into our designs, allowing us to make every piece unique.
THAWED BIRD INSPECTIONS ARE BACK
We’re going back to something we feel is extremely important.
When you schedule your consultation, we’ll give you individual thawing times and instructions for your specific birds.
During your consultation, we’ll inspect each specimen thawed and give you a straightforward, professional assessment of pin feathers, shot damage, dog damage, field care, feather condition and more.
You’ll know what we’re working with before the work begins.
BETTER ART. HONEST EXPECTATIONS. REAL COMMUNICATION.
Our goal is simple: create something you’re proud to display while giving you the peace of mind of knowing your birds are in experienced hands.
Take-In Season is officially OPEN. Call to schedule your consultation!
