Introducing our Blue Ribbon Rittman Business Spotlights! 💙

Our local businesses helped make Blue Ribbon Rittman something special, and we wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to some of the businesses that participated and the people behind them!

🏋️ First up: Evolution Athletics and Coaching LLC
Located at 8 N. Main Street, Evolution offers 24/7 gym access, individual and team coaching and training, and a Monday evening class for kids ages 10–13.

But there’s a special story behind Evolution. Owner Dave and his best friend Matt used to dream about owning a gym someday. Today, Evolution is dedicated in Matt’s memory. ❤️

After leaving nursing, Dave found another way to continue doing what he loves — helping people. His belief is that physical fitness and training should be accessible to everyone, with a mission of helping people become the best versions of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
When we asked Dave what he enjoys most about being part of the Rittman community, his answer was the friendliness — the feeling that you can walk up to just about anyone and start a conversation.

That’s exactly the kind of community Blue Ribbon Rittman was created to celebrate. 💙

❤️ Rittman Strong — Thank You, Community ❤️

In the weeks following the tragic events of July 5th, our community came together in an incredible way to support the families of those we lost, as well as those who were injured.

Through the *Rittman Strong Food Truck Fundraiser and the Rittman Strong Memorial Golf Outing, approximately $40,000 was raised to be distributed among the families of the victims and others who were injured as a result of that night.

We are incredibly grateful to every person, business, organization, sponsor, volunteer, golfer, food truck, donor, and community member who helped make these fundraisers possible. Whether you donated, sponsored, volunteered, purchased a meal, played a round of golf, contributed a raffle item, or simply showed up in support — you were part of this.

These events were about far more than raising money. They were about showing the families affected by July 5th that they are surrounded by a community that cares deeply and stands beside them.

To everyone who helped us turn heartbreak into support for our neighbors: THANK YOU!

We are proud of the way Rittman and the surrounding communities came together when it mattered most.

🏀 Exciting improvements are happening at Fritz Park! 🏀

New basketball hoops are going in, giving our community an upgraded place to get outside, get moving, and enjoy the courts! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to the Wayne County Health Department-Ohio, who received funding through a Creating Healthy Communities Grant to help make this project possible.

We also want to thank the Rittman Recreation Center ( Parks & Recreation Department) and City of Rittman Service Department for all of their work getting the new equipment installed and ready for our community to enjoy.

Projects like this are a great example of what can happen when local organizations and departments work together to invest in healthy, active spaces for our residents. ❤️

We can't wait to see these courts getting some use! 🏀⛹️‍♀️⛹️‍♂️

🇺🇸 BLUE RIBBON RITTMAN – EVENT UPDATE 🇺🇸

As we continue our America 250-OH: Blue Ribbon Rittman celebration this Saturday, August 22, we have an update to share regarding the day’s activities.

The Farm Heritage Showcase & Tractor/Equipment Display will not take place as part of Saturday’s event. We appreciate everyone who helped us share and promote this portion of the celebration and look forward to exploring future opportunities to highlight the agricultural heritage that is such an important part of our community and region. 🌾🚜

🏆 The Blue Ribbon Window Contest IS still happening!

We’re excited to see our local businesses get creative and help us celebrate Ohio’s agricultural heritage throughout downtown Rittman!

Haven’t registered your business yet? There’s still time! Please reach out to us as soon as possible to participate. We’d love to have as many of our local businesses involved as possible!

📢 TAKE OUT TUESDAY UPDATE – AUGUST 11

Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict with our scheduled food truck, Take Out Tuesday for August 11 has been canceled.

But you can still grab something delicious in Rittman! ☕🥤 Barnyard Brews will still be in town and serving from their regular location at Rylon Printing.

We apologize for the change in plans and appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support of our Take Out Tuesday food trucks and local businesses!

We’ll see you at the next Take Out Tuesday! 🍴

11 AM–4 PM for a special community fundraiser.

During the event, large 16-inch one-topping pizzas will be available for just $13, with all proceeds going directly to support the families impacted by the events of July 5.

Grab lunch or an early dinner, enjoy a great deal, and help show these families just how strongly Rittman stands behind them.
