🎶 COMPOSERS & MUSIC CREATORS…THIS ONE IS FOR YOU! 🎶
What if we invested in artists the way we invest in entrepreneurs? 👀
Not just celebrating their brilliance, but giving them the TIME, SPACE, RESOURCES, and RELATIONSHIPS to create something extraordinary!
Well, here's an opportunity worth sharing! 🙌🏾
My colleagues (and current Creative Evolutions client!) at Third Coast Percussion are looking for a music creator for their Currents Creative Partnership!
What I LOVE about this opportunity is that it's about more than commissioning a new work. It's about building a creative relationship that allows an artist to explore, experiment, and GROW!
🎼 THE OPPORTUNITY:✨ The opportunity to collaborate with an incredible ensemble✨ Participate in 3 in-person creative workshops✨ Develop a NEW work to be performed during the 2027–2028 Chicago Concert Season!
🎵 NO APPLICATION FEE!📅 DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2026!
💰 💰 💰 -$2,500 honorarium
✈️ Up to $1,000 domestic / $1,500 international travel reimbursement
We have to stop asking artists to simply survive and start creating ecosystems where they can actually THRIVE! 💜
Here's my ask:
👉🏾 TAG A COMPOSER!
👉🏾 SHARE THIS WITH OTHER ORGS AND INSTITUTIONS
👉🏾 SEND THIS TO SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO SEE IT!
Sometimes opening a door for someone else is as simple as saying, "I thought of you when I saw this."
