Hey there friends! Applications are now open for the Launch Well Collective Beta Cohort!

If you know a grassroots nonprofit leader in the Inland Empire who is ready to take their organization to the next level, I hope you'll pass this along!

The Launch Well Collective is a free, six-month intensive incubator for emerging nonprofits in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Participants receive expert-led training across 12 nonprofit competencies, one-on-one coaching, peer community, and practical tools they can use immediately.

To qualify, organizations must:
📍 Be located in Riverside or San Bernardino County
📅 Be five years old or newer
💰 Have an annual budget under $250,000
🤝 Serve historically marginalized communities

This inaugural cohort is limited to just SIX organizations and applications are due by Friday, August 21 at 5:00pm.

Launch Well Collective was developed in partnership with Inland SoCal United Way, our program partner and fiscal sponsor, and made possible through generous seed funding from the Weingart Foundation.

Friends! Launa Wilson Consulting is HIRING! I'm in the market for a new executive assistant to help keep my head on straight as I continue doing all the things I do in and for the community.

It has been such a joy to have my current EA, Ashley, on my team since January. I knew her time working with me would be short, as we discussed her graduate school goals during her interview. And now, Ashley's about to embark on her grad school journey at USC in two short months (yay!!), and boy oh boy will my next executive assistant have some big shoes to fill.

Since last Tuesday's Grand Opening, my heart has been so full from all of the love and support poured into the new LWC headquarters.

Several folks have asked - during the event and right after: "Launa, what exactly do you do to support nonprofits?" What a great question.

I established Launa Wilson Consulting to help nonprofit businesses do their most important work...with more clarity, more strategy, and more impact. Whether an organization is navigating funding challenges, leadership transitions, community partnerships, or needs a thought partner to help them plan for what's next, that's where my team and I come in.

The building is beautiful. But what excites me most is what will happen inside of it: the strategy sessions, the campaign planning, the moments where an organization gets unstuck and finds its path forward.

If you know a nonprofit leader whose organization is in a season of growth, transition, or simply needs support to get to the next level, send them my way!

This work is community work. And I love every second of it.

I am overwhelmed with joy, friends! On Tuesday, my team and I hosted our Grand Opening event for the new Launa Wilson Consulting headquarters in downtown Riverside. What an amazing day it was, and I am filled with gratitude at the number of friends, clients, and neighbors who came out to support. My parents even came out from Los Angeles (on what was also their 47th anniversary!) to celebrate with us.

Purchasing this building was truly a dream come true. My husband and I have poured our faith, hearts, and labor into this space to get it up and running, and I can't wait to see how much more good work we're able to do as a result. Like I said during my remarks: the reality is that the building is just a building...it's the things that will happen in and through this building that bring me so much excitement. I give so much honor to my dear husband, Chad, for walking this path with me and being my biggest cheerleader.

I'm also grateful to my dear friend and Councilman, Philip Falcone, for his kind words. I also thank my friend Nicholas Adcock for gifting me with an updated membership plaque from the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce (out with the old, in with the new!). And to every friend, client, and fellow business owner who came out to support and celebrate with us, THANK YOU. Your kindness, support, and congratulations mean the world to me. I promise that I will continue to make you all proud through the work I do in and for our community and region.

Now, time to get back to work!
