Thinking about applying for federal funding for your startup or innovation?

Join us tomorrow at 12:00PM for SBIR Talks, our monthly virtual webinar series focused on helping innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs better understand federal funding opportunities through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

SBIR/STTR grants provide non-dilutive federal funding to support research, development, and commercialization, helping startups advance innovative technologies without giving up equity.

Whether you’re just exploring federal funding or preparing to pursue your first proposal, this is a great opportunity to learn more and connect with the UCR SBIR/STTR Resource Center.

Access to capital remains one of the biggest barriers for early-stage climate and clean-tech founders.

Join us tomorrow on June 10 at 2:30 PM on Zoom for our upcoming Community Innovation Hour, featuring Karen I Serrano, M.S. from First Community Capital, Inc, for a conversation on microlending and lending readiness for green and clean-tech companies.

We’ll discuss how emerging climate innovators can strengthen their financial story, position their sustainability impact, and prepare to access the capital they need to grow. We’ll also leave time for open Q&A on broader innovation and commercialization questions.

If you’re building in climate, sustainability, or advanced manufacturing, we’d love to have you join the conversation.
