Congratulations to the winners of the RivCo Fast Pitch Riverside Regional, held at RIVERSIDE ExCITE as part of the 9th Annual Riverside County Office of Economic Development Innovation Month!

TollRAir, represented by Keziyah Yisrael-Gayle, Ph.D., took 1st place and Super Foam Corp., represented by Zef Neemuchwala, earned 2nd place - both advancing to the Riverside County Innovation Month Fast Pitch Finale on April 29 at the Riverside Convention Center. AttenDx LLC, represented by Anubhuti Goel, was also recognized with 3rd place.

Verification Funding Opportunity for CleanTech Companies:

Through the SoCal OASIS® Initiative at University of California, Riverside, high-potential clean technology startups can receive up to $30,000 in support to conduct third-party verification or pilot testing at UCR facilities. This program is designed to help companies generate the performance data, validation, and technical support often needed to move from prototype to market readiness.

Selected companies may receive access to UCR facilities and testing infrastructure, collaboration with technical experts, and greater visibility within the Inland Southern California innovation ecosystem.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Riverside Regional Fast Pitch Competition!

Early-stage startups will have the opportunity to deliver a 4-minute pitch for a chance to win $2,500 for 1st place, along with additional regional prizes.

But the opportunity doesn’t stop there: the winner of the April 29 Riverside Regional Finale will advance to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale this fall, where startups compete on a global stage for $1M in equity funding.

Last week, our team got a first look inside the SoCal OASIS® Park, a next-generation innovation campus now under construction and on track for opening in early 2027.

Set across approximately 4 acres and nearly 39,000 square feet, the Park is being designed as a home for research, entrepreneurship, and applied innovation. The space features a welcoming lobby that leads into a 1,100+ sq ft active learning facility built for hybrid education, and a dedicated startup incubator with 11 private offices and collaborative workspaces for founders, researchers, and industry partners.

The facility also includes a robust 2,000 sq ft prototyping and maker space, alongside specialized labs for sustainable mobility, integrated grid and energy systems, and atmospheric simulation and measurement, enabling ideas to move from research to real-world application.

This project is a collaborative effort across UCR's Research and Economic Development, Ce-Cert, UCR - Center for Environmental Research and Technology, and UCR University Extension at UC Riverside, bringing together expertise in research, education, and industry engagement to support clean tech innovation at scale. Built with transparency, accessibility, and community at its core, the SoCal OASIS Park will serve as a launchpad for clean tech innovation and economic growth in Inland Southern California.

We look forward to welcoming faculty, founders, and industry partners into this shared space for discovery, collaboration, and impact.
