Have you always been great, confident and prepared? Probably not...most of us have worked hard, made many mistakes, learned from those mistakes and had people along the way who helped us along and provided mentoring. Executive leaders must remember what it feels like at the important levels of the organization, which is the line or operational level. Choose to help those coming up in the organization and spend less time looking for your next opportunity to make a name for yourself. A legacy of mentoring and positive support is one that will last well beyond your time in a high-level position. CGL Companies

Unfortunately, we as people sometimes fail to see the importance of accountability in the effectiveness of the leader, the improvement of the employee and the success of the organization. Equally challenging is understanding that accountability isn't about simply administering a punishment, but about setting the person up for future success and opportunity.
