Broken Granite Countertop Restoration – Highland Park, IL

Another seriously damaged granite countertop saved from replacement!

The biggest problem was the broken granite directly in front of the sink and dishwasher area. The original metal support brackets underneath had rusted from years of moisture and water exposure. As the metal rusted and expanded, it put pressure on the granite and eventually cracked and broke the stone.

We carefully opened and removed the broken granite sections, removed the old rusted metal brackets, cleaned the entire damaged area, and rebuilt the broken granite piece by piece. After securing everything back together, we performed a full restoration to blend the repaired area and bring back the beautiful finish.

We also found water damage behind the backsplash. We removed the affected backsplash pieces, cleaned the area, reinstalled and secured everything, and finished it with new silicone to help prevent future water pe*******on.

The result: the broken countertop was saved, restored, and looks great again!

15–20 Year Old Shower Restoration in Roselle, IL ✨

This shower had never been professionally cleaned, polished, or restored in 15–20 years.

As you can see in the video, there was heavy yellow buildup, soap and grease residue, dirty grout, dull areas, and edge marks.

We completed a full restoration:

* Restored and polished the walls
* Restored the shower floor
* Deep-cleaned the grout
* Cleaned all the glass
* Replaced the glass seal
* Removed the old silicone and applied new silicone

Marble Kitchen Restoration – Downtown Chicago

We restored a beautiful, large marble kitchen with countertops and a big island in Downtown Chicago.

The countertops had been restored before by another company, but the customer was not happy with the finish. Diamond scratches and edge marks were still visible on the surface.

Using our professional diamond restoration system, we fully restored the marble and brought back its original semi-gloss finish.

Dropped Sink Repair in Downtown Chicago!

We completed another professional undermount sink repair in Downtown Chicago. The sink had started to drop after the original bolts, secured with epoxy beneath the stone countertop, became loose.

Our repair process included:

Broken Granite Repair in Wauconda, Illinois

Today we completed another granite countertop restoration in Wauconda, IL. The granite was badly cracked and broken in front of the kitchen sink.

Water had been leaking under the sink, causing the metal support bracket inside the countertop to rust. As the metal rusted and expanded, it pushed against the granite and eventually cracked the stone.

We carefully opened the damaged area, removed the broken granite and rusted metal bracket, then rebuilt and reinforced the countertop. We finished the repair by restoring the surface and applying new silicone around the sink.

The countertop is now strong, secure, and looking great again—no replacement needed!

3 Fallen Sinks Repaired in One Day!

Today was a busy day for iFix Granite & Marble! We repaired three undermount sinks that had dropped and separated from the countertops — two in Downtown Chicago and one in Glenview, Illinois.

For two sinks, we installed our strong wood and metal support system, reused the existing bolts and nuts where appropriate, and applied new silicone around the sinks.

The third sink required a different solution, so we installed special support brackets around the sink to secure it properly.
