EVENT POSTPONED

For the safety of our guests, volunteers, vendors, and community partners, First Fridays on the Avenue has been postponed to Friday, September 11.

The forecast for September 4, includes extreme heat and the potential for severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and hail. Rather than take unnecessary chances, we’re moving Sips, Spurs & Salsa to next Friday.

The response to our first First Friday has been incredible, and we appreciate everyone who was planning to join us on the 4th.

So, what are you up to Friday?

Bring a friend and hang out with Main Street Roanoke Rapids from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, September 4, at 1026 Roanoke Avenue.

Parking is available along Roanoke Avenue, 10th and 11th Streets, as well as in the municipal lots behind the Police Department and City Hall.

This is a free community event and we'll have you heading home by the time the streetlights come on. 😅😅
