It always pays to know what you really have! This woman dropped off an old Apple computer but it turns out it's an Apple 1 of which there were only 200. It is worth $200,000 but that won't help the donor unless the Recyclers find her. Hope they do.

It's an Apple I, one of about 200 such computers that Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak helped build in Apple's earliest days.

"It's like finding Mona Lisa in the attic". I thought I had really lost a treasure when I accidentally threw away a box of my Madame Alexander dolls so, I can't imagine the relief the Ohio man felt when he realized what he had saved from the trash. A recent Washington Post article tossed out three million as an Memorabilia Auction House's estimate for the collection. Not everyone is sold by all the recent hype. A MLB blog gives details about the collection and explanations as to why he thinks $500,000 is more realistic. I will be watching the August sale with interest, will you?
