Jared Schuman and Tim Yeager represented Arnold Magnetic Technologies' (Flexmag – Marietta) first ever participation in YES (Young Engineers and Scientists) Days 2026 at Washington State College of Ohio!

Through engaging presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive visuals, Jared and Tim introduced students to the fundamentals of magnetism, flexible magnets, and magnetization. Students explored how magnets behave in different materials, watched magnetization in action, and discovered how magnetic properties can be created. They also had the opportunity to examine raw materials and an extrusion die, gaining a closer look at the materials and manufacturing processes behind flexible magnets.

YES Days provides a valuable opportunity to inspire the next generation. Arnold is proud to support initiatives that encourage young minds to explore their interests and envision a future as tomorrow’s innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers.

As the U.S. Department of Defense prepares for expanded DFARS sourcing requirements beginning January 1, 2027, supply-chain transparency and material traceability are more important than ever.

At Arnold Magnetic Technologies, our Global Sourcing and Trade Compliance teams are proactively working with critical suppliers to strengthen upstream material provenance, documentation, and traceability.

Please join Arnold in congratulating Helen Hodkin on completing her International Trade Operations & Procedures course!

The ITOPS course is run by Fidelitas training and recognized by the British Chamber of Commerce as one of the premier courses for trade operations in the UK. The program brought together professionals from businesses across the region, providing an opportunity to develop practical expertise across a range of key international trade areas. Participants explore the essential processes and procedures involved in international commerce, including export documentation, logistics, trade finance and customs.

Helen was only 3 months into the role with no prior experience when she began training! Having just crossed her 1-year mark with the company, achieving this result shows how well she has performed as well as how much work she has put in.
