📢 Resource Center Closure Notice 📢

The Resource Center will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen during our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8, and look forward to serving our community then.

Labor Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers who make a difference in our communities every day. We hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy some well-deserved rest, spend time with loved ones, and safely celebrate the holiday weekend.

Thank you for your continued support of the Resource Center and all who help make our community stronger. We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you when we reopen.

🎉 What an Incredible Community BBQ! 🎉

We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we reflect on the success of this event! It was wonderful to see so many community members come together for a day filled with food, fun, connection, and laughter.

A special thank you to Zumbro Lutheran Church for their continued support, generosity, and for providing the space that helps make events like this possible. We are so grateful for your partnership and commitment to our community.

Thank you to the City of Rochester, MN Police Department for joining us and helping make the day so memorable. The dunk tank was a huge hit, and seeing officers jump in and be good sports made it even more fun for everyone!

To our amazing volunteers, thank you for all of your hard work before, during, and after the event. Your dedication, energy, and willingness to help are what make events like this successful.

And finally, thank you to our incredible community for showing up, supporting one another, and donating an amazing 294 items! Your generosity will make a meaningful difference and is a true reflection of the caring spirit that exists in our community.

Want a chance to dunk someone? Bring pantry donations! For every non-perishable food item or hygiene product you donate, you'll receive 3 chances to dunk the tank!

This is a great opportunity to support local youth while enjoying a summer evening with friends, family, and neighbors. Everyone is welcome!

🍳🌟 Cooking up confidence and life skills at the Resource Center! 🌟🍳

Today, one of our youth shared a favorite meal from home and took the lead in preparing a delicious plate of huevos rancheros. From planning and cooking to serving up the final product, he demonstrated independence, creativity, and pride in his work.

Cooking is more than just making a meal. It's an opportunity to build important life skills, gain confidence, and celebrate personal interests and culture. We are proud of his hard work and willingness to share something meaningful to him with others.

Great job on a tasty meal and a job well done! 👏😊
