Get Hitched Indiana has taken a temporary break from performing weddings. We will perform all schedules weddings through the end of the year with our booked couples. We started a new business and it's been busy busy busy that its been hard to find time to wed our new couples. Hopefully 2024 we will be back to accepting new booking.

Today's wedding for Jenny and Steve was so fun. Thank you for allowing me to be there for you both. Just know that the faces you made at each other made is sooooo hard to carry on with the ceremony instead of laughing out loud. Congratulations to you both.

It's time for another !

Do you have your marriage license? It seems like the simplest thing, but it is literally the most important item on your wedding list!

This "piece of paper" formalizes your relationship and marriage. It's a legal contract that authorizes a couple to marry. To obtain a marriage license in Indiana, you must first complete an online marriage license application, complete your appointment in the office or virtually, and then get married by a wedding officiant who records the marriage license in the office.

Here are some fun facts about getting your marriage license if you are getting married in Indiana:

💍 Your marriage license is valid for 60 days. You must get married before the end of those 60 days.
💍 The fee for Indiana residents is $25
💍 You must apply for the marriage license in your home county (out-of-state brides/grooms must apply in their home county)
💍 You will need one or more of the following documents: Valid Operator's License or Indiana State Identification, passport, military identification, or your birth certificate
