Hard to believe it has been so long! As we enter our 6th year, Christine Beech is now handing off the leadership of the WE Forum to Tawonda Burks who is the owner and publisher of the Rochester Women’s Magazine and leader of Elocina.

This handoff is an exciting point in the history of the WE Forum, as it marks an opportunity to build on the past success and ensure continued relevancy and support for our local women in business.

What is CO.STARTERS Core?

CO.STARTERS Core is a 10-week long, cohort-based program that equips starters of all kinds with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn business ideas into action.

All you need to have to join the program is: (1) an idea, (2) openness to question, shape and fine-tune that idea, and (3) willingness to talk about your idea with others.

Starters enter into a local facilitator-led, collaborative process with a small and supportive group of 10-15 like-minded peers. Working together, you’ll develop and fine-tune your ideas, critically examining every part and determining next steps through real-time feedback from people in the community. This approach enables entrepreneurs to rapidly uncover flaws in their concepts and find viable models more quickly. You’ll leave the CO.STARTERS Core with a deeper understanding of how to create a sustainable business and repeat the process with your next great idea.

This program is a great fit for entrepreneurial starters with a business idea that they want to test out or people already with an operating business (that's 2 years old or less) who want to refine their business model.

The Ignite Cup provides an opportunity to win up to 15K in prize money that you can use to grow your business.
We are offering these free prep sessions to learn how to pitch your business and compete for this funding!
Whether you decide to pitch or not is up to you, but either way these workshops will help you develop effective ways to share your business with others.
You can join the in-person sessions during the day in Rochester or the virtual sessions in the evening. Registration information is provided below.

It is a regional entrepreneurial pitch competition created to elevate entrepreneurs and emerging startups. If you win the E1 Ignite Cup, you get a chance at the statewide MN Cup competition.🏆 Finalists present their business to a panel of judges made up of entrepreneurs, investors, business/regional leaders, and an MN Cup representative. AND you could win up to $15k in prize money. 💰
