❤️ What an incredible morning!!!!

Today, Mr. Appleby and I loaded up the car with as many of your generous donations as we could fit and made the trip to the Tilton Veterans Home to spend some time visiting and having coffee with the residents.

They were absolutely overwhelmed and so grateful for the donations we brought today. It was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces and witness just how much these gifts mean to them. ❤️

I also learned very quickly that I had to share Mr. Appleby’s attention! He is quite the celebrity around there and is especially popular with all the ladies who work there! After spending just a little time with everyone, it was easy to see why. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine love for people shines through. Mr. Appleby has been volunteering between the Manchester and Tilton Veterans Homes for an incredible 46 years, and the impact he has made over those decades is truly inspiring.

The Tilton Veterans Home is an amazing place!! If you’ve never been there, I encourage you to take a tour, volunteer for a day, or simply spend some time visiting with the residents. Their stories are incredible. The residents are amazing, the volunteers are wonderful, and the staff provides such compassionate, exceptional care. The grounds are beautiful, everything is spotless, and they even have the cutest little store!

These donations are going toward their Sunshine Cart, which opens every other Thursday so residents can “shop” for personal care items and other necessities at no cost. It’s such a thoughtful program that brings comfort and dignity to those who have served our country.

We’re already planning another trip a week from Friday with even more of your amazing donations!

Many of you have asked if you can continue donating, and the answer is absolutely! The Veterans Home is sending me a list of additional items they keep on the Sunshine Cart. As soon as I receive it, I’ll post it here on our page. If you’d like to help, you can continue dropping off donations at The Postal Center, and Mr. Appleby and I will make regular trips to deliver them and spend time visiting with the residents.

From the bottom of our hearts, on behalf of Steven Fleming and myself, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This fundraiser has been such an incredible experience, and we have loved every minute of being part of it. Your kindness, generosity, and support are making a real difference in the lives of our veterans.

For everyone who has been anxiously waiting to see if Steven Fleming would actually follow through on his punishment for losing our Veterans donation competition… the wait is over!

After getting absolutely demolished in our challenge to collect the most items for our Veterans, Steve had to pay up. The agreed-upon punishment? Rocking a bikini at tonight’s midget wrestling show at Eastside Tavern. Well… a bet is a bet, and Steve delivered!

Thanks for being such a great sport, Steve!!! And an even bigger thank you to everyone who donated to support our Veterans. You all made this challenge a huge success!

Now enjoy the proof… because this is definitely something you can never unsee!!😂😂

I just finished counting all of the donations… and I am completely overwhelmed. ❤️🤍💙

I honestly don’t even have the words. The support from this community has been absolutely incredible. Whether you dropped off donations, had items shipped, Venmo’d money, or helped in any way…..THANK YOU! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Now… about Steve. I’m keeping my final number a secret until we go LIVE tomorrow at 6:00 PM, but let’s just say… I cannot WAIT to see the look on his face when he sees this collection.

And Steven Fleming you might want to start picking out that bikini now, because Mini Wrestling Night is getting closer, and I have a feeling you’re going to make one unforgettable ring girl!

In all seriousness, no matter who wins our little competition, the real winners are our Veterans. This community showed up in a BIG way, and I’m beyond grateful to every single one of you. I can’t wait to share the final totals with everyone tomorrow night. See you LIVE at 6:00!♥️🤍💙🇺🇸

Kelly came through with bags and bags of donations for our Veterans Home donation drive, and we are SO grateful for her generosity and support!

We’re still collecting until July 4th, and the items needed are listed on the flyer.

Donations can be dropped off at Postal Center USA or Eastside Tavern… but let’s be honest, we’d really love for you to bring them to Postal Center USA because we’re definitely going to beat Steven Fleming. 😄

His Story….Their Need….You Can Help!!!

Today I’m sharing a video from a Vietnam veteran who talks about his time in service, what these visits to the Veterans Home mean to him, and why supporting our veterans matters so much. Hearing his story is a reminder that the men and women who served our country still need our care, kindness, and support.

We’re collecting donations for the Veterans Home in Tilton through July 4th, and we still need your help! We’re looking for:

* Alcohol-free mouthwash
* Large boxes of Kleenex
* 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash
* Body lotion
* Baby shampoo

Every donation makes a difference for the veterans who call the home theirs. If you’ve been meaning to drop something off, now is the time.

And yes… we’re also trying to beat Steven Fleming in our donation challenge 😄 so let’s show up BIG and fill those boxes!

Our veterans gave so much for us ….now it’s our turn to give back. ❤️🤍💙
