We're already transforming Buffalo's streets—and there's still time to join us! 🎨🚶🌿
Starting today, Highland Planning, Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC), community volunteers, and project partners rolled up their sleeves to begin bringing temporary intersection redesigns to life in downtown Buffalo. From painting vibrant street murals to installing placemaking elements that improve safety and create more welcoming public spaces, the work is officially underway—and we'd love your help.
We're still looking for volunteers to join upcoming installation days as part of the BUDC Temporary Intersection Redesign Project at Canalside, the African American Heritage Corridor, and Roosevelt Plaza.
No special experience required. Whether you're comfortable with a paintbrush, enjoy hands-on projects, or simply want to help make Buffalo's public spaces more vibrant, there's a place for you. Come for an hour or stay all day—and bring a friend!
